The service provider needs to assure that the project they have taken up will be completed and delivered without any issues.

So how do you go about it?

A project audit determines the status of work performed on a project and tests all its components for successful delivery.

First and foremost, the service provider needs to assign a tester/auditor for error free task completion.

When Task2Bill found that service providers were having issues to track the testing process, they introduced the role of an auditor in the tool dashboard.

This made it easier for the auditor to track the tasks performed by the team.

The role of an auditor in Task2Bill

  • The auditor ensures to improve the quality, reliability and performance of the task.
  • After finishing a new task, individual team members put the resolve option.
  • The auditor, picks it up from there and perform a test of the task submitted.
  • The auditor verifies the quality of the tasks, validating the same.
  • The auditor executes and records the tests, evaluate the results and document problems found.
  • When the auditor finds that there are issues in the task, he/she reopens it for resolving the issue.
  • Once the auditor confirms the completion of the test, he/she submits it to the client.
  • The auditor evaluates the attribute or capability of a task for moving ahead to the next steps.

Customers often face the following difficulties and challenges when leading a project.

  • Time constraint for testing
  • Lack of sufficient resources
  • Tight schedule which leads to submit a task without testing
  • Complex requirements that get difficult to check and validate

The tester/ auditor plays the most vital role, keeping the testing phases organized and on schedule throughout the entire project.

The tester moves ahead with well-defined processes and systems to assure that the task are error free and can be submitted in a timely manner.
